Home Visits

Doctor's bagHome visits are provided at the discretion of the GP for patients who are too ill to attend the Surgery.

To request a home visit, please telephone the Grosvenor House Surgery between 08.00am and 10.30am and the Morton Surgery between 08.30am and 10.30am where possible.

Please give the Receptionist the telephone number that you can be contacted on, and as much information about the ill patient’s condition as possible, as this will enable the GP to allocate priority to home visits.  You will be contacted via telephone by the GP so they can triage your condition and decide whether a home visit will be necessary.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Health Centre.
