Grosvenor House Surgery

Morton Surgery

Social Distancing and Surgery Layout

Soon we will be re-opening our surgery doors to the public. However, things will work a little different.

Patients will be required to wear a mask or face covering when entering the surgery, patients will be asked to provide this themselves.

Patients will also be asked where possible to attend the surgery alone unless carer or responsible adult is required to attend.

Social Distancing will be in place throughout the surgery including in the waiting room where patients will be asked to sit on a bench of their own and some benches will be marked as out of use.

There will be markers on the floor from the entrance to the reception desk ensuring that patients are 1 metre apart when queuing at the reception desk.

There will be hand sanitiser on entry to the waiting room and exiting the building.

The surgery will be operating a one way system, this will be for anybody entering the building. The entrance will stay the same however ALL patients will exit the building from the rear, this will be signposted with arrows on walls and doors.

Patient toilets will be CLOSED for general use however if a clinician asks you to provide a sample a staff member will be able to unlock them for this use.
