Sample Processing
Samples should only be handed in if requested by a clinician. Unrequested samples will not be processed.
Samples need to be in the correct sample pot of type of sample. Bottles are available for requested samples at reception/
All samples should be handed in before 12 on that day, Collections for the lab at 10am and 12.45pm daily
All samples should be handed in before 3pm – to enable them to be processed for collection the following morning.
We cannot accept any samples received after 3PM on a Friday.
